Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Generally, Internet Encyclopedia Articles are written at a level accessible to undergraduates, although some of the entries can be a bit complex for the introductory level student. Entries are on the longer side but are typically shorter that Stanford Encyclopedia articles, which are often rather exhaustive.
-
Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy Online. Entries are generally quite a bit shorter than either the IEP or SEP. Entries tend to more accessible for beginning students.
-
Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. I view most SEP articles as written at an upper-level undergraduate or graduate level, and would rarely consider assigning an SEP article to my introductory level students. However, it is a great resource to the profession and I use it frequently to give me an overview of some area.
