Associations:
- The American Association of Philosophy Teachers (AAPT) provides a number of resources for philosophy instructors, including a page of very helpful websites.
- American Philosophical Association has a Teaching Committee, which maintains a newsletter with teaching ideas.
- The Lilly Foundation hosts a series of regional conferences on new directions in college teaching. If you are interested in pedagogy, you should definitely attend one of these (and submit a proposal for a presentation on something innovative that you are doing). You'll learn a lot about the interesting new things that are happening, and also get a lot of inspiration for things to do in your own class.
